I Was Into Moscato D'Asti......

before Moscato became cool. Wonderful outside wine in the summer heat. It also is a wine that will pair with a salad course that has a vinegar based dressing. My favorite: Elio Perrone’s Clarte. What’s yours?

Saracco and Vajra make nice ones.

Cascina Fonda, Marenco, Glicine and Borgo Maragliano have been recent faves…

I’m a huge Moscato D’Asti fan as well. I would recommend Enrico Serafino, Bera (especially their single vineyard Moscato), Batasiolo, and Marchesi di Barolo. You might also want to look into Vignalta as they make a Moscato D’Asti style wine using the Italian orange muscat grape Fior D’Arancio which is pretty nice too.

Bera is my go to. 67 Wine & Spirits has it in 375 if you’re near NYC.

Ice-cold on a hot day Moscato d’Asti is very refreshing. Only 5.5% alcohol, it’s half-way between wine and fruit juice.

Older thread, just was wondering if anyone else can chime in, had a bottle of Saracco with some delicious sage to it and got me jonesin’ to try some more vineyards.

I like Vietti’s Moscato

100% agree. It’s been a long term favorite of mine.

Saracco is also my favorite. You can’t go wrong with Vietti either. In this same category of fruity, low alcohol, fizzy and fun wines you could also take a look a Brachetto d’Acqui, which adds colorful to the mix.

Already mentioned above, but Vajra’s is fantastic.
