I need American Airlines/Delta frequent flyer miles, trade for great wine?

Hi there
I am looking for a longer term partner who is willing to exchange American Airlines frequent flyer miles for wine.
Exchange rate 1k miles=$10 in wine.
So, 20k miles=$200 in wine.
I could also use Delta miles, same redemption rate.
I work with, um, a few great bottles…Burgundy, Champagne, German riesling, Tuscany…

TPG rates delta Sky miles as worth 1.2 cents. That’s 1.2%. Tell my math is wrong, but if not where else can you get wine for Delta SkyMiles?

I’ve got around 42k in American miles. What wines are up for trade?

Also, I don’t know how to do transfer miles in the first place. Would need to walk through it.

In the past you could buy a bottle of Dom with Skypesos in the lounge. Sadly, not for take away. LOL

It’s $100 to transfer 20K AA miles. $230 to transfer 20k Skypesos. Clearly not worth it

Would have to book the flight for the traveler from your account

Uh huh.
Direct booking (at zero cost) is the way to go, not a miles transfer.
