High Praise, thanks @James_Lyon , Hopefully we will see you next time you’re in Oregon.
In for a starter and a pinot pack.
Sweet thanks Peter, looking forward to hearing you thoughts on the wines! I’m doing my own research right now and "checking in " on the 2022 Old Eight cut Pinot. I love that vintage!!
Order in for Kaleidoscope pack – excited to try!
Praise from Marcus and Vincent??? Im in for the starter very intrigued!
Ordered both a Starter and Pinot-only 3 packs, look forward to trying your wines!
Thanks for the BD specials!
Thanks @Vincent_Fritzsche . You made our day!!
Placed an order earlier for two the Pinot packs, cannot wait to try!
I’m in! Had a few of the Eight Cut wines before but this will give me a new view through the kaleidoscope!.
In for the side-by-side 4 pack. Very much looking forward to trying these!
Thanks Rick, I think you will very much enjoy 2022 Old Eight Cut Pinot, it’s turning out to be one of may favorites, a real classic Oregon vintage.
Hi Alicia! I hope you enjoy the 2022 Gamay, its super floral with nice sappy red fruit and little Cola to finish.
Thanks for the sweet deal!
The Kaleidescope offer is right up my alley. I’m looking forward to checking your wine out and, based on popular opinion, it’ll be a fun time.
What kind of corks do you use? I didn’t see it in thread. I like a bit of age so my angle is to understand how to temper my patience.
Hey Peter, we use Porto Cork Trefinos CWINE, they are micro agglomerated corks. We have trialed Diam and the VINC, the CWINE is by far the best. It is made of cork like the others but has the best “elasticity” and holds the wine perfectly. I think you will be impressed with 2022, they will go the distance, but don’t feel bad about pulling a cork early. ![]()
In for the 6 pack - Kaleidescope! I am excited to try Hundred Suns for the first time. Any idea of when to open the particular wines in the Kaleidescope offer?
@grant_coulter Thank you for your offer, cheers!
In for the Pinot Pact. Thanks to Marcus for the recommendation!
Pinot 3 pack for me, looking forward to these.
Thanks! I’m on it…for research purposes. That’s great info to consider for the long run.
Here comes the Suns - Starter and Side by Side for me.
Excited to try these wines - Thank you.
Hey Alexander,
I’m a big believer in pulling corks on the early side cuz as my friend Rich Tanguay ( Carmel Valley’s Obi Wan Konobi) one said “I like to taste the sunshine”.
- 2021 Eola-Amity HIlls Pinot Noir
This fella is deep and has loads of fruit and richness (but not overly tannic) Drinking window 2026-2035 - 2021 Bednarik Vineyard Pinot Noir
I love this wine right now, but if you want to lean into the petrichore/ floral aspects of this vineyard give 2 more years and then it will hold and mature nicely for 3-4 more years - 2022 Old Eight Cut Pinot Noir
Since this Pinot is woven out of Eola-Hill, Dundee, Ribbon Ridge, Chehalem Mountains and Tualatin Hills this is a forth dimension wine. Treat it like any of the other 2022 single vineyards it will age gracefully fro 10 years but will drink especially well around Thanksgiving 2024. - 2022 Willamette Valley Gamay Noir
Yum, lots sappy red fruit and Cola on this one, very fun right now but I also like to give a quick splash after opening, it will do well over the next 3 years. - 2022 Carson Phillips Pinot Noir (pre-release!)
More restrained than its 2021 vintage, cranberry and current theme and great acid from a long growing season, it will drink best around 2026 but will have so much to give before then - 2022 Sequitur Vineyard Pinot Noir (pre-release!)
This is the Upper Terraces kissing cousin and ages at slower pace, tighter fruit, with great floral+ Tea like character 3 years will soften the wine out but it will go 10+ easy
