Hey @ErnestL So happy they landed safe and sound! Honestly they are drinking really well right now but here is my recommended drinking order:
- 2016 Bednarik Vineyard Pinot Noir
The 16 Bednarik is really nice place, very supple with soft red fruits and great spicy (think cinnamon & nutmeg) from the whole cluster. - 2016 Sequitur Vineyard Pinot Noir
The Sequitur has more brooding purple fruit thing going on, alway wildly aromatic. The dark plum, sandalwood and savory umami note have now blended together to create a really intoxicating aroma. - 2019 Shea Vineyard Pinot Noir
It’s been a year or so since I had this and it has put on some weight, it was super pale and very red fruited when first bottled but now it has deep shades of red fruit great acidity and a more pure fruit flavors. I really love this wine. I read someone say it was pretty big for 2019 but in reality is actually very restrained for Shea vineyard. It speaks to my my style and just adore the purity of this wine.
*2018 Breaker Vineyard Pinot Noir
This wine drinking GREAT but could also be laid down for longer. Deep dark color that is result of tiny berries and clusters in warm vintage for old own rooted site. Initially this wine and blue berries and blackberry with stitch of mint in the background, that has blended together and now it has more seamless fleshy mouthfeel, but don’t be surprised, there is plenty of acid and structure so I would eat with some roasted root veggies and some peking duck!
