Apologies if this has been answered already (I searched but couldn’t find it), but it seems to me that there must be a way to suppress the “Welcome to the new site, Berserkers! … I’ll do my best to help” banner.
It’s not a big deal on a PC screen, but on my phone it, plus the spaces labelled advertisement (which normally remain blank), take up a full screen which I have to scroll down from before I get to any content.
I assumed that this was what the “Skip new user onboarding tips and badges” option in the Account/Preferences would do, but I have that selected (and I’ve cleared cookies, logged off and on and all that) but they still appear.
Any assistance gratefully received! For what it’s worth I use the latest version of Firefox on both devices.
