Hoo hoo Hoosiers - lots of champagne
Well, not that football.
Oh, wait…
Boomer Sooner.
Beer. Bourbon. Wine.
Order dependent upon flow and outcome of game.
Iowa fan here. Daughter is a student at Florida, so adjacent Gator fan as well.
If at the games, beer and maybe a rum and coke.
If at home, beer, rum or wine depending on the crowd. I love the idea of popping a bottle of champagne though. MIght have to start that up.
tOSU alum living on the West Coast. Nothing to drink during early games as I usually have things to do later in the day. Whatever is open during later games. I have a nice Bouzy champagne in the wine fridge I intended for the last regular season game last year that I’m hoping to enjoy this year.
Miami Hurricane here and we always drink white wine or beer at tailgates and lots of vodka after when we lose. Hopefully no more vodka this year.
Will plan on Champagne if Lane Kiffin decides to come to Gainesville. ![]()
Any other coach gets Costco brand Prosecco ![]()
I did not go to college here, so get my kicks rooting against Notre Dame. And it’s whatever we are drinking that night.
Bulldog by association here (wife is UGA grad). Usually just beer though for a game.
Texas alum.
I don’t open anything during the games because I am no longer allowed to watch them. Recently my girlfriend banned me from watching the games because she was afraid we were going to get a wellness check based upon my loud and profanity laced offers of constructive criticism to the Longhorn players, coaches, and staff.
UC Davis grad here, a Division II team. Nowhere to watch those games. An Ohio State fan through marriage and an Oregon Ducks fan through our daughter attending there. Saturday college football means a pint of beer or a glass of wine, nothing out of the ordinary on a weekend. However, if the Ducks and Buckeyes are playing each other, like they did twice last year, then it is on to spirits, because I can’t win or lose!
As an aside, going to football games at Autzen was a great experience!
Well, last night’s game against the Crimson Tide required some Weller’s…
Arkansas fan. Sadly this year, a lot of high alcohol Goose Island Bourbon County Stout.
Northwestern alum. A can of whoop-ass. Preferably a big one. Rarely has an affect on the game.
