How many bottles of Vendage and Almaden do you have in your cellars?

OK, guys (and we know pretty much everyone here uses the male pronoun), check out these market shares. Yet I never see any discussion of the wines at the right of the chart.

Vendange used to be readily available at many of the Trader Joe’s here in the Bay Area, but I have not seen a bottle in a long time. Not that I was specifically looking for them, either! Thanks for posting that graph, John.

I didn’t know that Mirassou and Almaden were still around. I thought those brands vanished decades ago.

And some more gender stats, from France, from the AAWE:

This graph is wrong on so many counts. Don’t they know people are not just male/female anymore?? There’s a whole spectrum of genders. Send it back to them, John, to correct it!!
Back in the day, Almaden made some terrific wines under the Charles LeFranc label. They made one of the very first botrytis Rieslings by Klaus Mathes way back when. I would expect it to still be good/great.

Wouldn’t the right question about Almaden be, “How many boxes of Almaden do you have in your cellars?”

I don’t think I have ever seen that label used on anything but 5L boxes recently.
