How is Babbo these days?

I see daily tweets that they have tables open. Price inflation does not seem to have hit the menu much. Is quality still there, or are they catering to the tourist crowd more?

Tourists have never deterred me from going to Babbo. Food quality remains consistently high for a top notch italian in NYC, prices are very reasonable and we’ve never had any negative service experience. We were there 2 or 3 months ago, no reservations, just walked in on a busy 6:45 pm Friday and were offered an OK table by the front window in the lower level which we gladly accepted. A shared pasta dish and separate entrees for wife and I, plus a nice half bottle of a white and a bottle of a red from southern Italy as recommended by the sommelier, and we were very happy campers.
