So, it sounds like the answer to the question is “either totally or not at all”.
Well heck, I didn’t realize CT had a moble app, why aren’t I using that?
Never bothered with it. I am on enough media platforms already.
Bothered with it briefly, but came to the same conclusion…
Here’s something you may not know about Delectable, and my non compete has expired I believe, for the first 2 years when all you peeps used to take pictures of your wine bottles so the ‘algorithm’ could identify your wine label… Myself and 9 other individuals were the algorithm. The facial recognition software was never able to identify the nuances of wine labels. Your photos used to ping right to my phone or laptop and I’d enter al the info into the database and ‘identify’ your wine and send the card back to you.
FWIW “non-compete” is not the same as a confidentiality or non-disclosure clause. Keeping confidentiality is often in perpetuity, not time bound. I will let you be the judge of your own legal obligations, but if this is something that is not public info, you may be in violation.

Interesting, and probably good to know. Thanks for sharing that(although I have never signed a confidentiality clause with myself…)
I use it similar to others as a diary of what ive drank. I can back to it to delete inventory from CT, remind myself what i thought of a wine or what i drank on what occasion, all in a dedicated spot (vs IG) that either self populates all the detail, or which at least helps me to fill in.

I’ll bet you haven’t had any wines from
Mendoza County. This just in…
Mendoza? Maybe that’s what they called it back in 2007. Not.
Like I said… I miss you Tom!
I thought Delectable was an app for ITB millennials and Rich Kids of Instagram to post unicorn pics… I never bothered to investigate further.
Never used it. WB, CT, and FB keep me as “in the loop” as I feel I need to be.

And for people who like posting Ruinart, Bollinger and Billecart pictures in the “Grower Champagne” area or who like using the word “unicorn” a lot.
i like Vivino just as a way to go back to revisit “oh what was the wine we had at dinner at X, i should pick up a bottle” or “have i had this producer, do i like their wines” – Delectable never seemed as good for some reason.
