+2; in some cases, I remove the velcro dividers and use bubble wrap to get more glasses or larger glasses in.

We have something like this for stemware:

Our travel glasses, which we keep in the car

Just the original boxes they came in. Never a problem with breakage. Now washing them that is a different story.
