I love this community and have been fortunate to participate in Berserker Day the past few years, where many of you have discovered our wines. I also started a micro-winery thread a while back that got some great conversations going. This year, as the holidays approach, I wanted to start a thread to help the small guys share their holiday offers with all of you passionate wine lovers.
It’s refreshing to connect here without the corporate BS that tends to flood our inboxes (I mean, I got my first Black Friday email in July!). For those who, like us, think a great bottle of wine beats an Amazon gift card any day, I figured this could turn into a bit of a 2024 gift guide for wine lovers across the country.
So… calling all small producers, please drop your holiday offers here! I’ll kick it off:
Elkhorn Peak offers a selection of one, two, and three bottle gift packs, all packed in black linen gift boxes and nestled in eco-friendly crinkle paper. Each box is adorned with our embossed logo, and tied with a fancy ribbon. Gift Packs are made to order and hand-packed (by me!) with tender love and care, and include a handwritten card with your holiday message. Shipping is included on all gift packs, and for delivery by Christmas, please order no later than Dec 6th (East Coast) and Dec 13th (West Coast). You can view our assortment of gift packs here: Elkhorn Peak Cellars - Shop - Gift Packs
A little about us: Elkhorn Peak is run by my dad, Ken, and me. We make 1,000 cases of wine a year from estate grown, organically farmed fruit, and sell 100% direct-to-consumer. Our focus has always been on producing small-batch, ultra-premium Napa wines, keeping our family farm viable for future generations. You won’t find our wines in stores – and that’s exactly how we like it.
What do you think makes a wine gift feel thoughtful or unique? And if anyone has tried our wines, I’d love to hear your thoughts and favorites.
Cheers to keeping small wineries thriving, and independently owned. Shop small this season, and Happy Holidays.
