Hold off buying Air Cork wine preserver

I did pick one up when this thread started, I remembered seeing this on Shark Tank.

First bottle was just fine the next day.

Second bottle, a nice Northern Rhone, was drinkable but not anywhere near as mind-blowing as the first day, funk gone, flavors muted. Chalk that up to the wine simply having been opened, I suppose.

Third bottle, an older burg. Sealed well with just a tiny bubble of air left. I went away for two nights, and when I returned the balloon had deflated just enough to let a bit more air in, wine undrinkable.

I guess I’ll stick to overnight usage.
