For Wineberserkers in the Bay Area – this is going to be a great event at Fort Mason in San Francisco next month.
I look forward to be participating as a winery this year and to be pouring our Pinot Noirs from the van der Kamp vineyard on Sonoma Mountain. The grand tasting will include historic vineyard wines from over 30 wineries from across California - many from some of the oldest vineyards in California.
Cheers,

This is just a reminder about the HVS event at Fort Mason in SF on May 10th. Tickets are still available and the line-up of over 100 historic vineyard wines is going to be pretty incredible this year.
I look forward to be pouring our Fest Wine Co. van der Kamp Pinot Noirs alongside this impressive list of California wineries from across the state.
A spectacular gathering in one of the most scenic spots in the city - so many passionate growers and winemakers personally pouring wines from vineyards anywhere from 50 to 140 years of age. Probably the highest density of board favorites at any event in the greater area. Honorable mention to a most excellent cheese and charcuterie selection. If you missed this year, make sure to attend next!
40 wineries in total, some of them sharing a table (Bedrock/Under the Wire for example). Room was Gallery 308 in Building A. Attendance was strong, but it didn’t feel crowded. Are you thinking of bringing the Rhône Rangers there?
Thank you for sharing the pics and for stopping by my table today, Uli. It was great meeting you. I hope to see you again at one of the future East Bay Riesling Squad events.
Great tasting. As the last time they had a tasting in SF The number of wineries to crowed ratio was very nice and I was able to walk up to most tables and get an instant sample. On top of the wonderful wines almost every table was maned by the winemaker and/or owner. So awesome to meet the people behind that magical glass you’re enjoying. Some of my favorite wines were Bucklin 23 Old Hill Grenache, Bedrock 23 Bedrock Carinan, I. Brand 12 (?) Chenin Blanc and Carol Shelton 22 Monga Zin.
Really great event. I lack the ability to pour out sufficient wine to have hit all the producers but made a good dent. In addition to the wineries that often get a lot of love on this board, discovered a few new ones that I’ll be sure to track in the future. Perlegos and St. Amant had two of our favorite zins, and the whole line from Amevive was killer.
The food spread was above and beyond for this type of event.
