Hey guys
My beloved 8 year old Transthem Ermitage wine fridge suddenly stopped working.
See the pic - it’s getting the power. When i press the test button, the orange light comes on. But there is no sound and the compressor doesn’t kick in.
I will call around a couple of places tomorrow to see if a technician can come to have a look.
Assuming i have to get a new one, what would you recommend in 150-250 bottle range. Something with full shelving.

Unplug it and plug it back in. 8 years for that price?
Unplugging my Vinotemp for 1/2 hour has worked for me when the temperature was dropping into the high 30ies. I have done this for the last three years on my 20 year old unit.
Give it a try, ya never know.
If you get it running again, make sure you get a temperature sensor that will alert you to high temps. My dad had a unit go out and it actually RAISED temps inside the unit to nearly 85 in a room that was only 75. Fortunately nothing of major value was lost but a malfunctioning unit can do real damage!
