La Clusiere
How about discontinued?
Rhys Alesia
Here in Washington, Nicolas Cole and Whitman Cellars are a couple that are closed, but wine should still be readily available.
I could come up with some old wines from Balcombe and Moe, Hinzerling, Langguth, etc., but you would not want to taste them.
Isn’t Sloan closed, at least in name?
P Hickner
P2 Wines
I’m not sure if Domaine Alfred fits what you’re looking for. It wasn’t “closed” per se, the name was just changed to (back to) Chamisal Vineyards.
Thunder Mountain
K. Furtado wrapped up operations at the end of last year.
Actually Corey’s first link is quite good, they are all Santa Cruz Mountains wineries (the home of Ridge, Mt. Eden, and Rhys, for example). Some significant ones on that list, where you might eb able to find their wines, are
CONGRESS SPRINGS
CRONIN VINEYARDS
FELTON EMPIRE (incredible late harvest wines)
GEMELLO WINERY (e.g. the legendary 1970 cab)
KLEIN VINEYARDS
OBESTER WINERY
SHERRILL CELLARS
THUNDER MOUNTAIN WINERY (already mentioned above)
Used to love the Syrahs from Alder.
Garretson
To this day, I still miss the Garretson Viognier’s. Sooo good!
There is plenty of Dain on wine-searcher.com - great wines at great prices…Pinot and Syrah.

Chateau Potelle, or at least their estate, I believe. Was still in my 20s and chuckled when I learned what their V.G.S. meant (Very Good S***, which was their best barrels).
Think it was purchased by Darioush, perhaps?
Cinnabar. Mount Eden purchased the facility a couple of years ago. I see that Thunder Mountain has been mentioned. You might take a look at James Laube’s old guide to California Cabernet and Stephen Brooks book on California wine for a few ideas as well.
Gypsy Dancer.
Cinnabar is still around. The label was bought by Cinnabars winemaker George Troquatto after the facility was sold and they are sourcing some grapes from from some of the same non-estate vineyards but the wines are being made at multiple different wineries. Kind of a unique situation they never went out of production and have the same winemaker.
Versant
Vineyard sold to Continuum a few years back.
Been told that the Wilsons bought it.
Serdonis Howell Mountain
Whoops. Thanks, Sean. Glad to learn I misunderstood something I heard. Apologies to Cinnabar.
