Has this board ever REALLY helped or hurt a winery?

Single data point, but…
I just returned from a second (becoming annual) trip to McMinnville where we visited with 4 different winemakers who are active members of this board (and some crazy guy who makes beer). In total, I have probably bought 10 cases of wine from them in the couple years I have been a Berserker. None of that would have happened without this board.

If there are 10 other people out there with similar numbers, we’re starting to talk about some real volume.

PS - I’ll get around to posting some notes from the trip at some point.

This board is helping Briceland Vineyards in 3 ways: 1. Some sales in January help with cash flow in getting ready for bottling in the spring. 2. Berserkers have given us a Cellar Tracker presence that we would not otherwise have. This will help as I start selling wine outside of Humboldt. 3. I have gotten to know a few people who are helpful to the winery.

On the other hand, it has hurt winery operation when I consider how I have neglected my family, friends, choirs etc. to spend time here with all of you nut-jobs. So, probably a wash?

And I certainly wouldn’t have known about your delicious wines without this board!

Berserkers - Patty Green, Goodfellow, Biggio-Hamina, Walter Scott. (ETA - The crazy beer guy )Other standouts were Beaux Freres, Eminent Domaine, and Fairsing.
