Has anyone purchased from crurated?

Any positive or negative experiences?
Thanks

I bought some Pierre Peters and Lignier. So far the experience has been fine, but frankly it is limited to me bidding the minimum and them charging my card. The wines are still in the cellars in France. The provenance can’t be beat. I could see this being more valuable to someone much younger than me who is trying to build a wine collection.

Interesting model. I’d think you would either need to have a lot of money, spend a lot of money, or both, for this to be “worth it”.

I will say one very annoying thing is that they had a long free trial, and then began charging my card with no “your trial is coming to end” sort of notice. Legal, I’m sure, but obnoxious.

[swoon.gif] On General Principles I’d avoid this outfit solely based on their ham-fisted company name!

Anyone purchase and arrange shipping to US with crurated? An offering this week has me interested.

I purchased 1 lot from them in July and 2 lots in September. The lots are still at the producers and not available for shipping yet. I believe they are sent to their warehouse in London before being shipped.

any updates? Anybody join and at what level?

I stuck with the free level and did purchase some wines. Domaine will coordinate with CID to get wines over if you are a customer, prices are in line with their usual import rates. Unfortunately prices lately haven’t been nearly as interesting as when it launched.
