I bought a 1984 Kirwan from Je veux ce vin.
However label looks very new. Was wondering if I was frauded?
doubt a 94 of that would be faked—3rd growth, average year. Maybe recent chateau release. Is somebody sleeping in late—upper left corner?

It looks like there may have been some late releases of Kirwan recently, as there are older large formats available on pre-arrival (e.g. 82, 83, 93). I would not worry about fraud with a 1984 from that Chateau.

If it were a fake, I doubt whatever was used could be worse than the real thing.
However, as others have observed it appears to be a late-release bottle.
