Saw that the 2021 Sun Break Marie Paule Reserve is available for BerserkerDay so figured I’d post this from a group blind tasting a couple months back.
Tasted these three 21’s blind along with a 21 Y. Clerget Volnay not pictured. The Sun Break and Patricia Green both outperformed the Volnay and were close to each other in quality, with the Sun Break coming off as more elegant and the PG as more powerful. The Mugneret Gibourg was unsurprisingly the favorite but the two Oregon wines fared quite well and did not seem out of place next to the M-G.
