Happy Easter everyone. What are you having for dinner wine/food/family

I just made a command decison and cracked an '05 Lillian Blue Label to have with whatever
we have for dinner. I can’t wait to try it.

Dude, maybe if you ate bacon, you wouldn’t be so damn hungry!!!

You are lucky it was a “mistake.” My mom blackened everything to make sure it was cooked enough. I used to snap my pork chops in small pieces to dip in BBQ sauce or something liquid to give them flavor and soften them up to chew. She was the epitome of: [welldone.gif]

Are we brothers? That’s my mom’s cooking, too. And every vegetable was cooked until it was grey. [barf.gif]

bacon cures hunger? neener and call me Dudette !

Crisper surprise fried rice which turned out pretty darned well. First try to pair with it was bretty and lactic and sour and gross. Second (different) wine was even brettier. Figuring I was on a tear I opened a bottle of Cornelissen I have sitting around, might as well try for 0/3, and 0/3 it was! Almost switched to beer but then rescued with a good 4th bottle.

I made some corned beef Ruebens and cracked some Ballast Point Black Marlin Porter. This Pole celebrated St Patty’s on Easter. [bow.gif]

Leftover Spaghetti and Sattui’s Gamay Rouge.

sake and asahi!

A quiet evening with just the two of us this year. We opened a 2007 Brick House Chardonnay with cedar-planked salmon, mushroom and red pepper risotto, and asparagus. Very tasty.

Don’t you drive a vehicle - specifically a truck? neener

Guess she never had a Good Humor bar, either.

Hey John,
Va and I had a very nice take out dinner from Olive Branch in Glendale. Beef dolme’s, greek salad, chicken breast kebabs and ghorme sabzi. Sooo good with the 2007 Beckman PMV syrah and the Tablas Creek 2007 syrah.
A very nice celebration of spring 2010.
