Halfway there...what's your WOTY?

2007 Weingut Keller Westhofener Kirchspiel Riesling Grosses Gewachs. Genius in a bottle. With dinner at The Ledbury on June 30 (barely made the first half of 2013). Anja Breit, the head sommelier at The Ledbury for the past few years, has made a great effort to improve the Riesling list.

Red-- Dirty and Rowdy 2013 Especial Mourvèdre
White–Leitz 2012 Rudesheimer Magdalenkreuz Spatlese.

The mag of 96 roulot perrieres on Thursday night. Stunning wine.

One of them is certainly the 1983 Domaine Louis Latour Corton-Charlemagne.

1989 Haut Brion

A few ones all can be WOTY thus far for me:

2004 St. Innocent Pinot Noir Seven Springs Vyd
2001 Pride Mtn Cabernet Sauvignon
2010 Domaine du Cayron Gigondas

This one is an easy call for me.

'48 La Tâche from magnum. Nothing else is even close.

Just finished an 07 Cathiard Suchots that had textbook typicity presented in a lacy, feminine style with a seamless balance of fruit and acid. It almost makes me cry to think how pricey these wines have become in recent vintages. Think this is the WOTY so far for me.

Wow! I and a few other BBers share a mag of the 48 DRC GE a few years back and I rated 100.
