Curious if anyone’s had experience with these wines and any impressions?
Thinking of picking up some 2013s…
Cheers.

Thanks gents!
Anyone else have any experience or opinions?
Guigal wines are very well made. Shame about the oak flavour.
To give you a more serious answer, this wine is a powerful, tight-knit (and expensive) expression of white Hermitage carrying a considerable overlay of toasty new oak. If you are looking for a classic expression of white Hermitage, this is not it, as the strong wood imprint marks it out very much a contemporary Guigal wine. But if you like the flavors and textures that barrels impart, you will love it. If you want a more traditional white Hermitage, you should seek out Chave’s (which is very textural and unctuous these days) or Marc Sorrel’s.
Thank you very much William!
