LCBO rules allow for sales from importers only by the case. Depending on product this could be 6 or 12 bottles to the case which is too much wine for some of us. I am therefore looking for a group of individuals interested in generating a combined purchase which will reach the case quantities. Here is some of the latest items.

2012 Clonakilla Shiraz/Viognier CDN$106.95 (12/case, 2 parties for total of 6 bottles confirmed)
2012 Rob Dollan True Colours Shiraz/Cab/Merlot CDN$25 (12/case, 2 parties for total of 9 confirmed)

There is a lot more great product out there which could be made available to us.

Yep - this is a solid way to pick up wine not otherwise available at the LCBO, and if you’re selective sometimes prices are actually palatable. I’d recommend you poke around forums.winespectator.com. Load of GTA Canadians hang out there, and there is even a thread in the buying and selling section dedicated to splitting cases from importers.
