Gold Coast Vineyard - Arcadian and who?

Drank an 05 Arcadian Gold Coast this weekend, 5th bottle out of six and have to say I love this vineyard/style. It appears the last wine Joe made from Gold Coast was the 06, anybody try this vintage?
Looks like Costa de Oro is keeping the grapes and making their estate wine from this vineyard, anybody try these pinots? Wondering if they are similar. Joes version is very aromatic and rather soft with loads of spice and a little creamy. Great food wine.
Also wondering about CDO’s chards as well.

I visited the Costa d’Oro tasting room in early 2010 and wrote up some notes (they’re near the bottom of this page):
Central Coast - January '10
I’m not sure that I’ve tasted Joe’s Gold Coast Pinot, but I doubt that the Costa d’Oro wines are similar.

Paul Lato has done a Gold Coast Vineyard Pinot each year from 2002 through the current 2010 release. Had an 08 about two months ago that was sublime.

Ken, glad you enjoyed the view from the Costa de’Oro tasting room. The Arcadian version is something special.

Steve, the Paul Lato wines look intriguing! Going to keep my eyes open for these.

Costa d`Oro wines are good across the board. Gary Burk learned well under the tutelage of Jim Clendenen at Au Bon Climat and his Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are especially good. It also helps to have great sources of fruit and the family vineyard supplies such. I recommend giving them a try and be sure to go to the reserves.
