I’ve had a Durand for years. But at $35 I couldn’t resist buying three for gifts. I’m assuming that the patent expired.

I used it the other night on a 83 BDX and it worked flawlessly. But the oldest wine I drink doesn’t need a Durand to open :cheers:

yes the patent expired. There is another thread about it (patent expiring, Glasvins and other knockoffs). Glasvin had intro pricing when it launched of 15 or 20$. Kicking myself for not buying more than 2 (and I have a Durand).

It is slightly different but not noticeable yet in usage.
