Any recommendations for restaurants in Geneva? Preferably with a underpriced wine list!
Even though he is in Bern, maybe Eric LeVine might know. Worth a PM.
We had an excellent meal at Il Lago. Not inexpensive as really nothing is in Geneva. Wine list was excellent and not crazily priced.

There are some great places in Geneva and a lot of very overpriced places in Geneva. It’s been a few years (2013) - but here are a few of my regulars:
Reasonable for Geneva:
- East West Geneva Eastwest Hotel | Boutique Hotel Geneva | OFFICIAL WEBSITE
- Olivier de Provence in Carouge (actually quite a few cute places in Carouge)
- Le Gout des Autres
- L’Opera Bouffe
(There’s another wine place in Carouge but the name escapes me)
Worth a splurge:
– Chinese restaurant Tse Fung at La Reserve (ok pretty much any restaurant at La Reserve)
(I used to love Windows at Hotel L’Angleterre, but the last time there it wasn’t good and the service was awful - great view though.)
Kitchy but decent fondue:
–Hotel les Armures
–Edelweiss
(Most people also like Chez Ma Cousine for roast chicken - I thought it was so so)
I’ll second Il Lago. Excellent all around, including the room.
