Gantz Family Pinot Noir

Greetings! I purchased 2 bottles of 2019 Gantz Family Pinot Noir on a whim. Dont onow much about the wine other than the grapes used to be sold to Kosta Browne but in 2019 they kept some to crush and bottle themselves. Anyone tried this bottling?

I think you’re going to have to be the one to educate us. Drink one and tell us what you think.

It would appear that way.

Nice to see you here, Zach. The Gantz Vineyard is a five acre plot of mostly pinot noir with a little chardonnay adjacent to UV Vineyard on the same side of Laguna Road on the Laguna Ridge of Russian River Valley. Like UV, it was planted by Ulises Valdez and the fruit went into KB’s RRV bottling. Now the pinot noir fruit is once again contracted with Dan Kosta and went into his current release of 2021 Convene Pinot Noir Russian River Valley which received a nice 97-point review from Wine Enthusiast who named it their #13 Wine of the Year. If you’ve enjoyed the old KB style of RRV Pinot over the years, it should be a winner.

Lol fancy seeing you here. Thanks for the info!
