I imagine that verbiage is there to protect the business in case there’s a serious concern about fraud/misrepresentation/whatever, but realistically many have seen RM’s CS and I’ve never heard anyone complain before.
That’s just unwise. I may let a case sit for a month or two as other cases are coming in before I finally go down there, but I’ve never had any issues with that time period. If you wait several months or a year, caveat emptor.

Got shipping notifications (UPS) on my wines (pinots), 11 bottles I believe shipped in 2 6-bottle boxes.
One was delivered last Thursday to offsite storage in bay area peninsula, but another box got delayed to Monday. Hot this weekend and even hotter on Monday (mid 80s).
Should I be worried? What would worry me most is the boxes were left in the truck outside in the sun.
