Free: Vinothèque 700 QT wine cabinet — Henderson / Las Vegas
Free to anyone who can pick it up and remove it.
This is a Vinothèque 700 QT, confirmed by Vinothèque from the serial number. It was originally purchased in December 2002 then bought by me from Craigslist.
It is a large furniture-style wood wine cabinet with glass doors and extensive interior wood racking. Capacity is in the roughly 500 bottle class depending on bottle shape and how tightly it’s packed.
The original refrigeration system is not functioning properly. A refrigeration technician recently inspected it and found a restriction in the sealed system. One section gets ice-cold, but refrigerant is not circulating properly through the rest of the system. The technician did not recommend trying to repair the original refrigeration circuit.
The cabinet itself, doors, racks, and woodwork are in good condition, so this could be useful for someone who wants to:
Retrofit it with a Breezaire / WhisperKOOL-type cooling system
Repurpose it as passive wine storage use the cabinet and racking for another project
It is very large and heavy, so pickup will require appropriate moving equipment and multiple people.
Located in Henderson, NV.
Free to a Wine Berserker who can arrange pickup
