Can anyone tell me more? Was really impressed by the ouverture blanc de noirs the other night!

I don’t know much about them other than I’ve drunk about a dozen bottles from them and they are uniformly excellent.
I’m still holding on to my last bottle of Extra-Brut L’Année 2011. The last I had in 2018 was beautiful: vibrant, mineral with beautiful fruit, florals and some earthy notes. Depth and freshness all wrapped into one. Just wonderful. There was enough structure there to last so I decided to hang on to it and see how it would evolve.
Nowadays, I’m lucky if I can get my hands on his l’Ouverture (which is also really good) as all the other cuvées are highly allocated and in tiny quantities over here.
Good article about him here: Small is Beautiful: The Champagnes of Savart : Vinography
Based on what I’ve had the wines are of really high quality - gastronomic and vinous yet super drinkable and vibrant. Alas, unfortunately the prices have increased a lot from where they were when I first discovered this producer.
+1 When I started buying from Envoyer in 2014, $35 was the entry fee on l’Accomplie and Ouverture.
Wine Source just listed the full range of Savart’s 2022 releases…
Recent discoveries for me :
Frédéric Savart Champagne premier cru VV extra brut L’accomplie : 17,5/20
80% pinot noir, 20% chardonnay. Superbe découverte pour un champagne précis, parfumé (poire, menthe), sapide, fin.
Champagne Frédéric Savart Eceuil premier cru extra-brut BdN Les Noues 2016 : 18/20
Robe intense.
Thanks for the notes. Just bought some of L’accomplie and the 18 Noues.

Speak to Stephane Beaudet there. Can’t see the offer on the website but it was emailed out yesterday. Looks like they just sell in the uk though so you’ll need to sort out storage and shipping to the US yourself.

+2. I jumped in around $50 and now they are $80.
I haven’t had but one Remi LeRoy wine, but I found it scratched a similar itch stylistically, though it is probably a leaner expression and not as much pinot noir. Worth a try at $40-45 for the base extra brut.
