Last year was a great Berserker Day for us and our Zinfandels. We are thrilled that you enjoy them so once again we make this offer so you can stock up for your family pasta Sunday or upcoming summer BBQ. Each of these wines has distinct characteristics, each worthy to stand alone proudly.

2018 Late Harvest Zinfandel - Sonoma County 16.3%
Our LHZ drinks more like an American red blend. With 14g residual fructose and no glucose the sweetness is more fruity than saccharine. Darker ruby port-like jammy fruits yet still retaining balancing acidity. Remarkably it is the best selling wine at Sugarloaf Wine Lounge, our tasting room.

2019 Bradford Mountain Zinfandel - Dry Creek Valley - Grist Vineyard 15.3%
Classic Bradford Mountain Zinfandel from Grist. You all know the pedigree of this site and our blend of Zin, Petite Sarah and Old Vine Syrah makes the best example of what it has to offer. If you have explored Dry Creek Zin for as lookng as I have you will recognize the Northern Dry Creek profile of this wine. It is not jammy but balanced and dry with a savory finish. Being Italian, “Cuore Mio” is how I feel about this wine. I use it in every red sauce, and drink it with every red-sauce based meal I make.

2021 Rockpile Zinfandel - Rockpile - Rocky Ridge Vineyard 14.7%

100% Zinfandel from one of the best blocks of Zinfandel in Rockpile. Back in 2016 we had to compete to get this fruit from “Uncle Chris” Mauritson. I feel that Rockpile is one of the few places where you can get Zin to stand alone without a little help from friends. 2021 was a lower ABV year compared to most for Rockpile so in turn it is more claret style than huge, but still brings that Christmas spice to the party along with the Zinberry fruit.

Took a chance on Evan’s wines a few years ago and keep coming back for more. Glad to see y’all with an offer again.

No syrah on offer this year?

In for a case.

For folks who may be dense like I am, you need to use code BD16 for the 50% discount.

Thanks for choosing us again this year, Jason. I’m glad you like the wines.

I was away making a fire as it is cold in Kenwood. Not as cold as other places but too cold for my liking.

Oh my! I’m the daft one as I forgot the code in the message. Thanks for reminding me.

You got me again there, sorry about the Syrah. We are sold out and that should not have still been up on the site.

No worries. Just wanted to call out that I enjoyed it last year

Thanks Brian! I look forward to your visit and good company. Let me know when you want to come by and pick up.

Did 2x of the 3x different zins for the 6 count
Looking forward to trying and love me some Zin

Thanks a bunch Patrick. If you have more questions about the wine, pairing/window etc., please don’t hesitate to contact me.

In for a case of the DCV and Rockpile zins, right up my alley!

Right on Jeff! You will have a lot of fun with those wines

Enjoyed the Zins in the past. Bought 6 bottles of each zin!

Thanks for your order, Stewart. I’m glad you like the wine. The price is silly for Grist and Rockpile but I’m happy to share with the Berserkers. I wear my “somm - Berserker” pin to work every day to the chagrin of the tasting room somm.

Evan, placed my yearly order of zins (I miss not having the syrahs like last year as they were yummy!), thank you for you your continued generous BD offers!
Regards, Dick Kliner

Thanks a bunch Dick! I appreciate that you consider our small brand and I’m sorry about not having Syrah this year. Hopefully we will have plenty for next Berserkerday.

Hey everybody. Shipments are scheduled to go out tomorrow. Look for an email with tracking numbers from wither FedEx or UPS.

Cheers,
Evan
