Thanks, David, I appreciate it. My kids have seen a bottle there that they want to buy me for a gift but (unlike my parents) are internet savvy enough to ask if it’s a reputable shop before spending hundreds of dollars there.
San Diego isn’t that big and if you’re really interested reach out to him and find out where he’s located. I’m always running around and I’m sure I would be near their location at some point in the next couple of weeks. If I had to guess he’s probably operating out of a locker at one of the local wine storage facilities.
I’ve bought a few times recently. Jim is reliable and his provenance is solid. 1990
Bordeaux was in great shape as well as 2012 VHR that. was still wrapped in tissues and drinking beautifully. I would recommend him.

Thanks for the offer, David, but that seems above and beyond. It also doesn’t look like they have a storefront to visit so must be operating out of a warehouse.
