2023 Domaine Damien Martin Chardonnay Mâcon-Verzé - France, Burgundy, Mâconnais, Mâcon-Verzé (9/4/2025)
Finally found a $20 WB locally that tastes GREAT! It is bright and refreshing, speaks of Burgundy, with nothing “weird” about it. Just classic yellow tarted orchard fruits with fresh squeeze lemon…little salted tropical mango…apple skin sours, crisp celery…creamed up nicely with subtle smoke nuanced vanilla oak…rounds it out perfectly…love the crushed limestone chalkiness…easy drinkin…one of those PERFECT wines to cook and sip with. I really like this! (93 pts.)
