Just ordered a set. I remember when I first started getting into wine I ordered a set of the original Fusion glasses. I found them to work quite well, but they don’t seem to get any love. Now with this new Triumph line, I think it’s almost a no-brainer. I LOVE my Zalto glasses, but sometimes it’s nice to change things up a bit. Now, what to do with my one Riedel glass. Commerce corner on the cheap?
I love the Riedel Burg somm glass, but they are just so big and obnoxious. This seems like a great option… -mJ
I’m totally fine with big and obnoxious. Just how Tex likes his women. It’s the fragile, two-piece aspect of the Riedel that concerns me.
I’m fine with it too, and bring them as my glass of choice for offlines usually. But I hate being paranoid hauling my wine bag with a few stems that cost damn near a hundred bucks a pop and a few bottles of vino from the house, to the train, and then a walk across NYC. But it doesn’t stop me. Brought these to Peking Duck House on Saturday night… -mJ
