Wines we’re enjoying on a consistent basis this summer:

Chermette’s Griottes Rose
My St Chinian producer’s un-imported Rose
My Azay-le-Rideau’s Rose
My Azay-le-Rideau’s Gamay
My Azay-le-Rideau’s sparkling Grolleau

Come on, there have to be some perks to being an importer. [cheers.gif]

I’m dedicating the summer to the wines of Corsica, so drinking through several producers’ white, roses, and reds. Some amazing wines coming from that island.

Drank an '08 Fevre Bougros last night that was smoking good, with fresh Santa Barbara stone crab claws at Ivy At The Shore, of all places (which were surprisingly good). Ended up there as a last minute substitution for Ink., which we couldn’t get to because the traffic headed east from the westside was so horrendous. So we turned around and went to the Ivy.

De Moor St Bris- gone thru many bottles my go to Sav Blanc
Tempier Rose
Domaine Du Fontsainte Corbieres Gris de Gris Rose
Lucien Crochet Pinot Rose
Baudry Chinon Rose
and Rieslings!!!

All things Liquid Farm! [thumbs-up.gif]

Fourrier Bourgogne Blanc
Marcel LaPierre Morgon

lots of Leflaive Bourgogne Blanc and Laurent Tribut Chablis!

Virtually any champagne / sparkler. I’m a lot less demanding of these when consumed ice cold on a pontoon.

2012 Ciro Bianco Calabria - Favoring this much more than the rosato this year.

Who’s the Cirò producer?

Anything 2010 Chidaine is just singing for me this summer.

I rarely drink anything but red, but it’s been very hot lately and I have found myself consuming a lot of 2012 Bedrock ode to lulu rose which is just so refreshing and light. Also really liked the first Carlisle white I have ever had, the 2010 Compagni Portis.

Oops its Librandi

Botani Moscato Seco
Ameztoi Txakolina
Bugey-Cerdon

+1. Had this last night on a scorcher of a day. Really refreshing.

My favorites so far this summer:

These 3 rise above the rest…
2011 Madeleine Chenin Blanc L’Arsouille
2012 Merry Edwards Sauvignon Blanc
2011 Heitz Grignolino Rosé

These are also SO GOOD… but the 3 above stand over all
2011 Hall Sauvignon Blanc T-Bar-T Ranch
2012 Liquid Farm Mourvedre Rosé
2011 Migration Chardonnay

Honorable Mention… Beer category.
The Bruery: Sour in the Rye
