I received a UPS notification from Bucklin today. I only did a 6pack as cellar is beyond max capacity. I’m lucky temps in OR will accommodate garage storage for the next 7 months. I should not any get grief for just 6 bottles .

Sent a couple hundred bottles to WineBid so my wife isnt giving me too much grief this year!
I’m still waiting a few weeks on the shipments I can control. My packages mostly go from California to Minnesota, but I have had them transit through Texas in the past.
Best argument, not having to be home to sign for your wine.

Have 2 bottles of 22 Leflaive Chevy shipping that I forgot to put into CT. That’s like a nice Christmas present.
Second of two PGC shipments arrived today. 
First of two arrived last week.
I’ve got a couple of Goodfellow cases coming, and have worked to make room for them in my tiny homemade cellar 
and then just one (Ladd) and 1/2 cases (Cabot) coming, but I am beyond full capacity at this point. Plus my wine therapist apparently ghosted me at some point this past summer, so that isn’t helping . . . .

In South Texas, the best shipping window is between T’giving and Christmas.
In my house we play a game everytime a truck pulls into the driveway. We call it ‘Wine or Christmas Presents from Amazon?’

Massive California heatwave starting Tuesday and extending for an unknown period of time, high 70s and 80s across the state… ugh.

Our shipping window is huge so not a big deal.
Not really seeing that in my forecasts. Sure some 80s in Socal but that’s fairly normal.

Yeah the cooler weather this early October is not normal. My pomegranate tree already shed its leaves and this time last year the leaves were still green.

High 70s is not a massive heat wave here in California. It’s moderate every day temperature pretty much all year. It’s perfectly fine Shipping weather.
