Has anyone had the BDX? Worth purchasing?
As promised, I wanted to follow up with some thoughts on the FM wines.
We tasted them at their new tasting lounge in downtown Saint Helena on SAT afternoon.
Spent several hours hanging with Nikita and Benoit sipping through the wines. I will put some detailed TNās on CT this afternoon, but in short, the wines are delicious.
The Las Piedras and Sleeping Lady were fantastic, and the Missouri Hopper was nice as well, but overshadowed by the first two.
If you like BTās style and are a fan of the Las Piedras vineyard- run and donāt walk to scooping that bottling up.
My credit card was raging after we left, but those wines are worth it.
Great wines and great people make it easy to support- I will be a buyer for lifeā¦

Had the 2018 MacDonald with Alex at Bouchon on FRI night and it was without a doubt the best wine that Iāve had in recent memory.
Other noteworthy wines were the 2018 Brion Sleeping Lady and the Caldwell single vineyard.
Tasted through the 2018 Arrow & Branch reds on SAT night and their Dr. Crane and the Right Bank blend were also delicious.
We didnāt taste a sub par wine all weekend but those were standoutsā¦

When you tasted at FM did you have to call to set that up? I donāt see any info on their website. Weāre gonna be in Napa in March and would like to swing by there if possible.
