Failla Club - favorites or sleeper hits?

I’m new to the Failla club and just logged in to see the August club release options. I’ve already added the Jurassic Park Chenin Blanc to my order, but does anyone who’s been in the club a while have any suggestions for under the radar favorites or sleeper hits that I should check out?

Most of their wines are now biodynamic, and I haven’t had one I didn’t enjoy.

My favorites include the Olivet Savagnin and Chardonnay (Big Egg), Pearlessence Pinot, Fort Ross-Seaview Pinot & Syrah (meter by meter is great). Reuling is a Big Buy, and is based on DRC rootstock. Get some Rose, which is inexpensive, as well as Oregon Pinot. I don’t think they’re still doing Keefer or Hirsch other than Library - which all rock - but if on offer, get them.

First bottle from my case was totally dead. But then years later on vacation in the tropics, I opened a few and they had roared back to life.

I dropped the club a while back as I have too damn much wine, but I have always loved their Syrahs.

Welcome Kyle!!

I’m partial to Occidental Ridge (incl the 100% whole cluster version)

Curious what the pricing is like on their wines these days - rose, chenin, etc. Thanks!

Or could it have been due to the fact you were in the tropics?

Tahiti - it’s a magical place

No rose in this release. Jurassic Park vineyard Chenin is $45, Chardonnay $35 to $50, Pinots $35 to $85. The release goes up on the 5th.
