Hello Berserkers! I created my account here in 2010 when I was a just a wayward Los Angeles attorney starting to go down the rabbit hole of wine. I have all of you to thank for further encouraging my obsession to the point of leaving my career behind in 2014 to embark on the wine journey that led me to Walla Walla, so it’s always a special thing for me to be involved in the spectacle that is Berserker Day.
We’ve put together some great offers this year that include a wide range of our wines, which for those of you not familiar with our style tend to be fresh, moderate in alcohol and extraction and aged primarily in neutral oak, concrete or clay. These sampler packs are a great way to either get to know our wines, or to stock your cellar with your favorites at prices that won’t be seen the rest of the year. For the first time ever we are also discounting stays at our vacation rental, Casa Grosgrain, so hopefully we will host some of you Berserkers this year!
All offers will have discounted $10 flat rate shipping west of the Mississippi River and $20 for the rest of the lower 48 states and will remain at that total if you purchase multiple offers, so the shipping savings build when you add more to your order. We currently cannot ship to AL, AR, DE, MS, NJ, RI, SD and UT. HI and AK inquire about shipping rates. White/Sparkling Sampler
Lemberger is a grape with a long history in Washington and we work with the oldest vines of the variety in the USA, planted in 1976. We’ve made a pet nat from the variety most vintages, but in 2022 we produced this sparkling wine in the traditional method, resulting in a refined Brut expression. In this sampler it joins two of our most popular wines: our crisp concrete-fermented Grenache Blanc and our Sémillon (not quite an orange wine with 50% fermented on the skins for two weeks), aged in a mix of clay amphora, concrete egg, neutral barrel and stainless steel.

Case O’ Petit
Petit Grosgrain is a Rhone-based blend that is made with the goal of producing a balanced wine for the table at a great price (and you won’t find a better price on it than here). The 2022 hasn’t been reviewed yet, but Sean Sullivan’s Northwest Wine Report review of the 2021 vintage describes what you can expect:
“92 points, Critic’s Choice
This wine is quickly establishing itself as one of the best values in the state. On first swirl, the aromas are captivating, with very primary notes of red and blue fruit, white pepper, sauvage, and whiffs of smoked meat that show laser-focused purity. The palate delivers all of that and more, with bright, spritely but textured flavors. It’s flat out delicious and a big time value to boot. 13.8% alcohol.”
