We are considering one but at that price we are also wondering if they provide bang for the buck compared, for example, to our existing countertop Anova. Their website says their latest generation of these ovens came out in 2020 so while I’m interested in what folks have loved and hated about any Gaggenau steam oven, I’m most curious to hear from folks who have the 2020-date design.

How did you arrive at Gaggenau? For better or worse our entire order went bellyup with Pirch out here so we have the opportunity to start from scratch. We had a Gagg induction top and Miele steam over dialed in.

My experience with Gaggenau is almost 40 years old. And it hasn’t been good. I hope the modern cooktops/ranges and ovens are better, but we are going with Wolf this remodel. Wolf range, hood, oven and combi steam. Hopefully, it will only hurt once (when we pay for it all) rather than continuing to bleed us like Gaggenau has. YMMV.
