Hello everyone in the Wine Berserker Community,
We have a special virtual tasting to celebrated the Anderson Valley Pinot Noir Festival, which like many other events has been canceled due to the shelter-in-place. The festival is where we first fell in love with Pinot Noir and of course, the amazing community of winemakers and growers in Anderson Valley. We went to our first PinotFest 20 years ago, before we ever thought we’d be making wine. We were influenced by winemakers and wineries like Elke, Londer, Lazy Creek, Handley, Navarro and many others.
So, on the day that would have been PinotFest, Sat., May 16 at 3pm PT, we are hosting a virtual tasting with sommelier Tonya Pitts and our winemaker Shalini Sekhar. We’ll be tasting through three of our AV Pinot Noir wines, which are also available in specially priced 3- or 6-packs.
Tonya has attended the Anderson Valley Pinot Noir Festival in the past and participated on industry panels at the technical conference. She is a former wine director at One Market and has been in the food and beverage industry for over 20 years. We’re excited to have her join us and get her insights on what makes Anderson Valley Pinot Noir so enchanting.
