There goes my everyday go-to Bourbon. Any suggestions on something similar, both in taste and price?

Evan Williams BiB has always been my cheap/go-to bourbon. I’ve generally preferred that to the single barrel, though I cannot articulate why, or if it is even similar. I’ve also been a big fan of Larceny, though that’s starting to creep up in price, unfortunately.

It is still produced but only sold in Kentucky, perhaps some of our distinguished illuminati out in KY could send you a case.

1792 is also worth a try as is WT Kentucky Spirit, but still stand by the 4R suggestion since its 7-9 year old distillate, albeit higher rye than EWSB.
