I must say, I have never ever purchased anything from HSN. I turned on the box this morn and there was my boy, Emeril pushing his wares. This looks too good not to get. $69 with wood chips and 17 of the boys recipes.

Realizing Emeril gets no love around here, but I gotta say: I recieved this yesterday and it’s pretty well made. pre-seasoned (no biggie) with a drip tray and a steel rack. Very heavy and the box is marked AllClad. I will make some smokey babyback ribs this weekend and report back. (No Essense, no Bamm) [foilhat.gif]

By the way the top is a grill as well as a lid. I love new toys.

How exactly does this work in keeping smoke from coming out of the device? That’s got to be one helluva seal.

Yeah, what if you want to check in on the smokee or you have different cuts that require different times?
