Eating in England

I was in England for three weeks, visiting family, and had lunch at the Axe and Compasses in the village of Arkesden. The pub is run by a Greek guy, his English wife, and their three sons. The food was magnificent. Steak and kidney pudding as good as my mother’s. Arkesden is a beautiful village close to the town of Saffron Walden. St. John is excellent if you’re in the Smoke (London).
