Eating and Drinking in Los Angeles

I believe it’s $65 or $75. Knowing Barry, I don’t think the nosie level of downstairs would suit him. The upstairs though could work.

Did anyone get info on the Vin et Hip Hop events/dinners? I thought they were sending out a news letter today, but I didnt get one.

Nope! I do know I am doing a big Rieslingstudy on Friday, March 20th for anyone in town for Vin et Hip Hop. They don’t seem to be too organized from what I have heard through the hip hop grapevine

Yes, they went out. Maybe they went out to French people/addresses first?

Care to copy and paste the material information?

There are 8 dinners. $1,200-$2,500.

Not sure how to do that. Maybe this will work.

the two $2500 dinners are already sold out. $1k+ seems to be the new standard for cost of entry to these types of events?

Pretty much yeah

oh nice! is there a location yet?

I’m still showing availability for all the dinners.

That Melisse × Krug dinner sounds excellent. I thought Dujac was coming as well.

feels ambitious for a few of the producer/restaurant combos

Noisier than Hatchett Hall? Wow.

March 20 Riesling Study?! I’m FINALLY going to be able to attend one. Let’s talk to Ian and do it at Anajak?

Agreed. I’m always hoping Robert could pull some strings and reserve the alley or something like that at Anajak for Riesling Study. I feel like they are far too busy/popular to agree to something likenthat though.
