Domaine Select Wine & Spirits Announces Asset Purchase Agreement with Robert Kacher Selections

November 12, 2015

Domaine Select Wine & Spirits, one of the industry’s most progressive importers and distributors of fine wine and artisan spirits, today announced that it has entered into a definitive Asset Purchase Agreement to acquire the majority of the assets of Robert Kacher Selections, a leading boutique importer of fine French wine. This acquisition comes after the recent announcements of Domaine Select’s partnership with Walden Capital Management, a private equity group with financial and management expertise in the hospitality sector, as well as the acquisition of Vinecraft, LLC, a Miami-based fine wine and spirit distributor.

DSWS will manage the day-to-day business of the Robert Kacher Selections portfolio effective immediately, in cooperation with the management team of RKS. It is expected that the transaction will close by the end of the year.

About Robert Kacher Selections

The Robert Kacher Selections label has become synonymous with quality-imported wines, primarily French along with wines from Portugal and Argentina. Bobby Kacher forged long-term relationships and partnerships with growers, allowing him to build one of the finest wine import portfolios in the United States. Robert Kacher Selections’s principles and ethics have not changed much since then; small, family-run estates, high quality and uncompromising standards have been the essential foundations of the company since its inception.

Not a fan of DS ever since they blow me off over a question of one of their imported wines I had which was corked. Crappy customer service in my book.
