Anyone have any idea if the Coravin is sold at a slight discount anywhere or sites that may offer a currently available coupon code?? I have one myself and love it…would like to buy for a friend as a best man wedding gift but $300 plus tax just seemed a little steep in this case.

I think it’s too new to give any discounts on the device itself. They had a discount on cartilages, but that’s long expired.
Yeah I’m not feeling overly positive about finding it discounted but had to ask. I know Neiman Marcus for instance had a 20% off sale a few months back on all their home goods including coravin so hoping for something along those lines…

Wine Enthusiast is now carrying Coravin in its catalog. There are always online coupons floating around for the WE catalog - I read the fine print on a current coupon ($15 off) and it didn’t say anything about not being valid on Coravin, but I didn’t go through checkout - I was an early adopter…
(** edited - coupon was $15, not the 15% I originally posted. WE has better coupons in the cycle - $25 off, 10% off, spend $50+ get a $50 gift card, etc.)
So I am being lazy here and don’t want to thumb through all of the previous threads but what is the approx. cost for gas for each glass exhumed from bottle? If only taking 1 at a time. I am seriously wanting one of these. I have so many bottles resting that I just want a taste of.
The company claims 15 glasses per capsule. I feel that I get less than that, but I use it a lot, so probably pretty close. I do know that I blew through the first few capsules much quicker than necessary - it takes a bit of practice and a light touch … you really need to be patient.

I think it’s like ink jet printers, the cost (and profit) is mainly in the capsules.
