A few guys from our Discord community (small but budding, for the US at least) are looking at doing a meet up in Dec. If anyone fancies joining them, DM me and I can ping you over a discord link.

Ah its just where its being organised - theres a guy in NYC and a guy in SF trying to organise the meet ups, so easier to coordinate in one place was all

Did I ever tell you about being a beta tester for the original IBM CRT displays on 360-70 mainframes? I don’t even know if the concept of a beta tester existed at the time.

Discord is a chat platform. But the people organising the meet up are partially on there, and partially on here. At least SF is being partially organised here as well, whereas the NYC meet up is being done on discord only as far as I know (though WB members attending and obviously welcome to participate as well!)
Thanks also to those who’ve DM’d me about it, looks like we’ll have a half dozen or so people in each location, should be a lot of fun i think.
