Here’s an article on 5 grower champagnes for New Year’s Eve. Sorry in advance if you cannot access, but I used the share link directly in the article.
From the selection this could have been ghostwrtten by FMIII @Frank_Murray_III, who probably reads the paper, even though he lives in the outer province of Orange!
FWIW I had already chosen to go with the Laherte Meunier Rosé extra-brut before glancing at this.
5 of the best Champagnes to try for New Year’s Eve (most of them under $100)

Do they all mention how “clean” the farming is

Paul, that is funny. Not true but ironically I have been working through a bottle of the LF Ultradition the last few nights. I’ve had all of those wines in 2024, some more than once.
I appreciate the article because it shines a light on the smaller guys. I’d put LF up against anything for my wallet, I love those wines. But $110 for PG La Loge is priced too high. You can find that wine in the $70-$80 range. And $90 for Yuman? WUH?

He’s definitely inspiring!
My 2 wine groups have had to suffer through a # of these wines over the years.

I’d hardly call it suffering … !
Funny, I have all but the Tarlant in my cellar currently. You’re obvious a bad influence!
I believe Tarlant Zero Rose was the no dose Champagne that got me on my journey. If you have yet to try it, get a bottle and see what you think.
