I just got back from my first trip to Napa and my wife and I loved DiCostanzo. Erin/Masimo make top notch wine and I can’t give them enough praise. I was not a white wine drinker until I had their Chardonnay, and I will now be a regular customer.
I need some help from anyone that has tried their Chardonnay. I will continue to have the DiCo Chardonnay for special occasions, but I am looking for a every day drinker/ wine for large parties that fits the same profile in the $30-50 range.
Not a huge Chardonnay drinker, but I too love their Chardonnay. I tried it last year for the first time and it will be an annual purchase. I just said I’m not a huge Chardonnay drinker so take this with a grain of salt, but I think Sandhi Central Coast might be a good option.
Pretty much adore everything about their entire operation. Very good people, very good wines, very good value proposition. A triple play in this market.
Just received an email offer this morning from Wine Solutions @Tom_K for Ceritas’ Marena for $40. While it’s not quite the same in terms of sites, they are similar in style. If willing to expand to Oregon there are plenty of other options in that price range as well.
